As an independent contractor with Teakwood Travel, you’ll work for yourself but under our brand. You'll be responsible for marketing your services, booking vacations, and providing excellent customer service to your clients. Teakwood Travel provides you with tools, training, and support to help you succeed.

We offer comprehensive training opportunities, including a video-based training program to teach you everything from selling Disney and Universal vacations to booking cruises and all-inclusive packages. Ongoing educational resources and support will also be available through our community.

No prior experience is necessary! We are looking for individuals with a passion for travel and helping others. Our training opportunities will equip you with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in the travel industry.

There is a small startup/annual fee to cover administrative costs,  marketing materials, and access to booking systems. Additionally, you will need to maintain your own business-related expenses, such as internet, phone, and other operational costs.

You’ll have access to the Teakwood Travel Group brand and resources, but building your own client base is essential. Many agents find clients through personal networks, social media, and our exclusive Facebook group, "Teakwood Travel VIP Lounge: Disney, Universal, Cruises, and Beyond."

As an independent contractor, you’ll earn a commission on every booking you make. Commission rates vary depending on the type of travel service you book (e.g., Disney, Universal, cruises, or all-inclusives). You can expect competitive rates that grow as you become more experienced.

Yes! As a travel agent with Teakwood Travel, you may be eligible for discounts, familiarization trips (FAM trips), and other travel-related perks to help you better understand and experience the destinations you’re selling.

No. You have the flexibility to work full-time, part-time, or as much as your schedule allows. You set your own hours and workload based on your personal goals.

We provide ongoing support to all of our independent agents, including access to booking platforms, marketing materials, a collaborative community of agents, and direct access to our experienced leadership team.
